Preventing unwanted people from joining a list

1. Log in to the MailMan Administration console.
2. Select Privacy Options.
3. Locate the What steps are required for subscription option.
4. Select either the Require Approval or Confirm+Approval option.
5. Click Submit Your Changes.
6. Each time someone attempts to subscribe to the list, MailMan will automatically send you an email informing you that someone has tried to join the list. Go to the URL contained in the email message and then use the online form to accept or deny the request.
