Managing your nameservers

This feature is only available for domain names registered through EasyHost.

You can modify your current DNS information and specify additional DNS hostnames for your domain within SiteEasy's Domain Name section. Your primary and secondary nameservers are pointed to EasyHost's nameservers automatically. Typically, you would only modify your current primary and secondary nameserver information if you are transferring your domain name from EasyHost to another provider.

If you would like to specify additional nameservers beyond a primary and a secondary nameserver as a precautionary measure, you can do within SiteEasy as well.

Modifying your nameserver information can result in your site not being found and/or email failure. Be sure you want to make these changes prior to modifying any nameserver information. If you need to reset your nameserver information, click Reset Default Values at the bottom of the Manage Domain Nameserver page in SiteEasy.

To change your primary and secondary nameserver information:

1. In SiteEasy, click Domain Name.
2. On the Domain Name Management page, click Manage Your NameServers.
3. Make modifications to the the Primary Nameserver Hostname and Secondary Nameserver Hostname and then click Submit.
   

To specify additional nameserver hostnames:

1. In SiteEasy, click Domain Name.
2. On the Domain Name Management page, click Manage Your NameServers.
3. Enter the hostnames in the appropriate fields and then click Submit.
